Yannick Meiller is currently the associate Dean for the Master in Management / Programme Grande Ecole.
Yannick holds a PhD in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence – Industrial systems). His professional activity is threefold: professor in Management of Information and Responsible Digital Transformation at ESCP Business School, entrepreneur, and expert for BPI (Banque Publique d’Investissement – a French innovation funding public organization). Yannick Meiller has a wide and diverse experience of innovation, of intermediation between research and industry, and of exchanges between technologies and management sciences. He worked for scientific research public institutions (Universities, ONERA – The French aerospace lab), in France and in the USA, in the field of decisional Artificial Intelligence. He also experienced innovation in start-ups and blue chip companies.
In 2005, he founded the company NOVAPTEN – specialized in innovation management and collaborative project management, for blue chip companies, small businesses and public institutions. He is still managing this company. In parallel, he got progressively involved into research and lecturing in the field of management sciences.
Within ESCP Business School, his research works deal with:
- Digital information - characterization, value, processing and related subjects (such as privacy, data sharing, security, impact on society, etc.)
- AI and management
- Responsible digital transformation
- Assessment of innovative projects or technology oriented project, for decision making;
- Technologies, technology management and the related economic sectors.
His lectures cover mainly:
- Information systems;
- Respondible Digital Transformation
- Digital tools and digital aspects of management;
- Big Data, IoT, AI,
- Innovation management.
Yannick teaches in many programmes, among which the Bachelor in Management, the premaster, the master in Management, the MBA in International Business, the executive MBA.
In executive education, he is co scientific director of the online executive master “Transformation Digitale” and scientific director of the online certificate “Data sciences pour manager”.
In initial education, Yannick has created, developed and is still coordinator of the mandatory coding courses (in Bachelor in Management and Master in Management – in Madrid, Paris and Torino). He is also responsible of the specialization “Sustainable Digital Transformation: Understand, Contribute, Manage.” and of the Digital Spark Seminar (both in the Master in Management)
