Her Voice, a podcast from ESCP Business School’s media The Choice, aims to contribute to women’s visibility in their domains of expertise. We’re talking business and science, willpower to change the world, and ambition to have a decisive impact on the future.
Every Wednesday until March 8th, the International Day of Women’s Rights, we will release a new episode from the second season of Her Voice.
This season, we’ll speak again with five awe-inspiring women and highlight their expertise on subjects as wide as entrepreneurship, finance, consulting and innovation. From the perks and challenges of being a driver of innovation with Beatrice Borgia, to the importance of promoting the journeys of female CEOs with entrepreneur and writer Élodie Andriot, we’ll be diving deep into the minds and careers of brilliant experts.
Have you ever wished you could meet a successful female entrepreneur to guide you through your own entrepreneurial journey? Well, Élodie Andriot, author of the book “Patronnes", has done so, meeting with 52 women CEOs in France to gain insight into who they are and how they made it to the top. From her current goals to what inspired her to write Patronnes, the final episode of Her Voice Season Two dives deep into female leadership.
Wanting to do her part during the Covid-19 pandemic, Jo Bautista created SendtoGive, a social enterprise that enables people to use their creative skills and engage in intercultural collaboration to create social impact. In the fourth episode of Her Voice Season Two, Jo Bautista dives deeper into social entrepreneurship, and how she applies both art and business for positive impact.

Today, Beatrice Borgia is the chief corporate development officer of Teoresi Group, an international engineering services company, as well as the president of the board for the Turin Piedmont Film Commission. Today, she is the firm’s board president and head of communication. From the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey to becoming a leader in fintech, Caroline Lamaud Dupont shares her story with The Choice.

For the first episode of Her Voice, ESCP has invited a special guest to talk about her creative solution for something we often take for granted, lighting. Sandra Rey is the founder and CEO of Glowee, a start-up with the ambition to revolutionise the way we light up our spaces and cities thanks to bioluminescence.
A crypto fan since 2013 and currently the CEO of Valour, a digital assets investment platform, Diana Biggs is an expert when it comes to innovation in finance. Together, we discussed the overall evolution of the “crypto craze”, the surging popularity of NFTs (aka Non-Fungible Tokens), and also the challenges facing women in finance.
On the third episode of Her Voice, we had the opportunity to speak with not one but two women experts, Aurélie Jean and Amélia Matar, about their respective fields of artificial intelligence and computer science education for children. Together, we investigated the variety of biases in tech — whether they influence the way algorithms are created, or the number of women in the industry.
When Anisha Goel was confronted with the difficulty of finding fresh local produce in her hometown in India, she decided to create the solution. Building off of her family’s history and her business experience, Anisha and her co-founders are working to uncover new ways of growing healthy, sustainable food and educating consumers on the great products from local farmers.
On the fifth and final episode of Her Voice season one, we had the great pleasure of speaking with Argyro Avgoustaki, professor of management at ESCP and expert on the questions of high-performance work practises. With the post-Covid workplace under the microscope, Argyro’s expertise gives us a clearer view on the impact of our work cultures on employee well-being.
Her Voice will provide quality interviews from female leaders who have managed to not only make it into the science and business worlds but to also change the status-quo and create lasting impact for the better.
“From tech and entrepreneurship to the sustainability transition, the women on the podcast will be eager to share their knowledge so that they can inspire and shed a new light on what it means to be a female leader.”
ESCP believes dreams and ambitions are born from the representations we are provided with as children and young adults, and therefore it's crucial to share the voices of these women in the hope that it will participate in the creation of the next generation of leaders.
The podcast will feature on ‘The Choice’ – a media platform powered by ESCP which brings together a variety of voices that reflect both the European and international footprint of the school. From professors and students to guest writers, each author shares their own unique voice and vision of the world of business.

“At ESCP Business School, we believe that in business, as in life, everything starts with choices. And it is by making such choices that we give meaning to business. As leaders, our choices can define the world we live in.”
ESCP Business School has been ranked 3rd among the top 95 European institutions in the Financial Times annual ‘European Business School’ ranking.
ESCP ranks 1st in Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain, and 2nd in France and the UK. This outstanding ranking reaffirms the school’s place as one of the most prestigious business schools in Europe.
This position in the ‘European Business School’ ranking is based on the overall scores that ESCP has achieved for each FT ranking it has featured in this year: the MBA, Executive Education, Master in Management (MiM) and EMBA rankings. Across the board, ESCP demonstrated exceptional performance. Our EMBA, MiM and Master in Finance programmes rank among the top 5 in the world.
Our approach to business education is rooted in our European values and identity. Ranking among the top three business schools on the continent emphasises the overall quality of our programmes throughout our six campuses in Europe and our commitment to this European vision.
Prof. Frank BournoisAcross its programmes, ESCP is also positioned at the top of the table for international course experience and the diversity of its faculty. In fact, 86% of ESCP faculty are international.
By having such a strong international faculty at ESCP, and with campuses based in locations across Europe, our students witness first-hand the value of diverse leadership. This brings a multi-expertise, multi-perspective approach to learning, which enhances students’ overall experience and prepares them to be the responsible leaders of tomorrow.
