Digital Project Management & Consulting Specialisation
Lead strategic initiatives in a global and digital environment.
Objectives
The specialisation in Digital Project Management & Consulting is part of the Master Degree (DEAMIE)*

This combination enhances students’ development experience through a hands-on approach with our partner companies. This international specialisation comprises three terms of intensive courses at the Madrid and Berlin campuses and one term of professional experience to complete the master thesis and a company internship. The MSc is designed to be the first step toward a successful and international professional management career.

“The MSc offered a truly unique learning environment where both critical and creative thinking were fostered. My classmates and I were challenged every day to see problems from different angles and find innovative solutions. Above all, what I think added most value were the tailored workshops, interactive classes, digital consulting projects but, especially, my professors and classmates who with their diverse backgrounds and nationalities made the experience at ESCP even more remarkable.”

The possible obtaining of the necessary permits to obtain the corresponding visa for the country of destination of the International Seminar will be the sole responsibility of the student, and a negative result will not give rise to any claim against ESCP. Obtaining and/or arranging for such permits shall be at the student's own risk.
Profesionnal Mission - Term 4
Jul-Dec: A professional experience of 4 months minimum anywhere in the world
From mid-April to end December, you must complete an in-company internship of at least 4 months (though often lasting for 7-8 months). ESCP assists you in locating internship opportunities and networking with companies.
The internship is an opportunity for practical application of the theoretical concepts learned from courses, with an eye to establishing a career. In many cases, corporate employers consider the internship as a trial period for a permanent position.
The Corporate Relations Department
The Company Relations Department is dedicated to gather placement offers from many companies. The department also organises a series of fairs involving firms, giving you many opportunities to make contact.
The thesis is an applied research project in consultation with an academic advisor based on a professionally-oriented topic.
It is a chance for you to synthesise learned material through analysis of a particular corporate issue by using clear, detailed argumentation. The thesis marks the culmination of the degree and is orally presented to a committee at the end of the programme. It represents 17 of the total of 120 ECTS credits earned over the year.
During this time, students will also participate in a mandatory Research Seminar held by an ESCP professor. This seminar represents 3 ECTS credits of the total 120 earned over this academic year.
Here are a few examples of thesis topics:
- “Mergers & acquisitions in B2B: Key success factors in the integration phase”
- “Fair trade: a French-US comparison of sustainable growth of two large organisations: Artisans du Monde and Ten Thousand Villagers”
As an international business school, ESCP Madrid campus welcomes students from all over the world and invites them to get familiarized with our Spanish culture by learning Spanish before starting the MSc programme.
We believe that the more Spanish the students speak, the easier they will find it to integrate into Spanish society and the more they will get out of their stay in Madrid. So, unless the students are a native or advanced Spanish speaker, we strongly recommend that they take this opportunity to work on their Spanish before they start the Master programme.
Students do not need to speak Spanish to enrol in the MSc programme as all courses are offered in English. However, some knowledge of Spanish can be useful to enjoy the full ESCP learning experience, become professionally bicultural and optimize networking with Spanish and Latin America students and alumni. This is why ESCP Madrid campus offers a Spanish Immersion course which is included in the tuition fee.
