On Friday March 8th 2024, ESCP Business School London Campus hosted its 19th Annual Student Gala, welcoming 400 guests at the iconic 5-star Luxury Landmark London Hotel.
The event attracted a record number of students from different London-based degree programmes, as well as staff, faculty, alumni and ESCP partners, with some guests attending this flagship event from other countries.
Led by two marvellous hosts, Prof. Benjamin Voyer, a Cartier Chaired Professor of Behavioural Science at ESCP Business School and Henriette Fiskum Ranum, an MSc in Digital Transformation Management & Leadership student, the 19th London Annual Gala proudly celebrated the many achievements and successes of the ESCP London community.
This year the London Campus also marks ESCP Business School's 20th year in London, 50th year in the UK, and 205th year since its founding. These milestones were proudly shared by London Campus Dean, Prof. Kamran Ramzdoost in his opening speech, highlighting ESCP's continuous efforts to inspire and educate purpose-driven leaders who will positively impact the world.

Two important awards were presented commemorating student contributions with a significant positive impact in the last 12 months. The first was in the category of Company Consultancy Project of the Year, where company projects across different degree programmes were evaluated for their overall performance, client interaction and feedback, and collective impact and approach as a group. Presented by Veronique Tran, Executive Vice-President for Executive Education and Corporate Relations at ESCP Business School, this prestigious award was given to the Master in Management student team of Fabio Belfiore, Varinda Garg, Ines Joffre, Rajender Reddy, Tomas Meirelles on the Business Consulting specialisation track. The team worked on an expansion strategy project for cleantech company Terrafend, supporting them on a mission to unlock the potential of a circular economy and sustainable solutions for businesses and the planet.
The second award of the evening in the Student Society of the Year category went to the ESCP Bachelor Society (EBS). With 18 different student associations in consideration, EBS received the most votes for embodying such values as vibrant student life, community-building, creativity, multiculturalism, and positive impact. The award was presented by the Student Experience team at the London Campus, Ruby Gooders and Thuany Demuner.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a Champagne welcome reception, a three-course dinner, and a number of performances. The entertainment included ESCP London's Music Collective, featuring Thalia Djilo, Inass Chiahou, Jiaxuan Li, Matias Esteban Macek, Nathan Winthrop, and Estelle Fan, and a surprise performance from LED pixel video dance group Supernova, part of the Feeding the Fish, known globally as pioneers in the field.
The night concluded on the dance floor, with a world-class DJ set delivered by signed Universal Music label artist, DJ and ESCP alumnus (2017) Harold Van Lennep.
“The London Gala was a timeless moment to share with all Bachelor students, and also different Master students and ESCP staff,” shares Arthur Glorieux, a Bachelor in Management (BSc) student and active member of ESCP Bachelor Society. “From the venue and seeing everyone in tuxedos and evening dresses, to the DJ and the dinner, the whole atmosphere of the night was simply unforgettable.”
