On September 11, 2025, ESCP Business School and Schneider Electric officially launched the third edition of the Digital Transformation for Sustainable Impact Chair during a ceremony held on ESCP’s Champerret campus.
Created in 2016, the pioneering IoT (Internet of Things) Chair was founded on the ambition to combine research, education, and action in order to support companies through the digital revolution. The first two editions placed IoT at the heart of the discussion, exploring how connected technologies could transform organizations and create new business opportunities. This work led to numerous initiatives, including a 120-hour specialization track, learning expeditions, case studies, public conferences, as well as the publication of white papers and academic articles.
Building on this momentum, the new Digital Transformation for Sustainable Impact edition aims to better understand and promote the digital drivers that enhance economic performance while contributing to the sustainable transition. Drawing on the expertise developed over the past years, the Chair will expand its educational activities across France and Europe, with a strong emphasis on experiential and immersive learning.
We are proud to continue this shared journey, which began in 2016. Schneider Electric and ESCP are guided by the same compass and share the same convictions, summed up by these key words: Innovation. Internationalization. Inclusion. Diversity. Sustainability. Digitalization. Excellence.

The journey began in 2016 with the first IoT Chair. Since then, we have multiplied our initiatives: conferences, white papers, student engagements, and the launch of a specialization track. Our objective remains unchanged: to create meaningful impact and place digital innovation at the heart of the sustainable transition. Today, a new chapter begins with the Digital Transformation for Sustainable Impact Chair, which will provide our students with rich and inspiring learning experiences. We share essential values: learning, transmitting knowledge, growing, and contributing to a better world.
