Real-world strategy and real industry partners, incorporated into the Master in Strategy and Digital Business

ESCP Business School Berlin is entering a new chapter for its Master programme in Strategy and Digital Business (MSDB). The programme has launched a strategic partnership with McKinsey & Company, bringing one of the world's leading management consultancies directly into the academic experience.

As part of the collaboration, a team of McKinsey consultants will teach a dedicated course within the MSDB curriculum, offering students direct exposure to the analytical frameworks and strategic thinking that shape digital business decisions at the highest level. In addition, McKinsey experts will give a guest lecture and lead workshops, providing students with insight into the real-world development of digital business strategies.

The partnership with McKinsey & Company brings real world expertise into the classroom. Our students will not only learn tested AI and tech strategies, they get proximity to the actual decision makers. This is what makes this partnership truly valuable.

Coming back to ESCP as an alumna is always a special highlight. The students bring the intellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo and the entrepreneurial spark to drive tangible impact. Ultimately, this partnership excites me because it bridges academia and business, cultivating a continuous, hand-in-hand exchange and mutual inspiration.

This partnership exemplifies one of the defining features of an ESCP degree: a broad and active network of practitioners who contribute directly to student learning. Rather than treating industry knowledge as something students encounter only after graduation, the MSDB brings leading professionals into the classroom, so that real business challenges, current strategic thinking, and practitioner perspectives become part of the academic journey itself.

For MSDB students, this means more than access to a well-known name. It means working alongside people who are actively shaping the field they are training to lead - and graduating ready to do the same.
