The Digital Transformation for Sustainable Impact Chair examines how digital tools can support companies in their transition toward more sustainable business models.

Launched in 2016 by ESCP with the support of Schneider Electric, Société Générale Assurances, and Valeo, the Chair initially focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) and value creation.

Today, in partnership with Schneider Electric, it broadens its scope to examine how digital tools can drive both economic performance and positive impact, through research, education, and close collaboration with businesses.

It carried out numerous concrete initiatives, including specialized courses, study trips, publications, conferences, and projects aligned with the real needs of organizations.

Chair’s Mission for 2025–2029

In its third edition, the Chair is addressing a crucial topic: the sustainable transition. It now focuses on exploring how digital transformation can concretely support companies in this shift. We are deeply grateful to Schneider Electric for their renewed trust and continued support for the ninth consecutive year. With this new chair fully dedicated to impactful digital transformation, we are proud to take a significant step forward by expanding its international scope. The chair is now designed to reach across all our campuses, empowering our students and academic community to shape responsible and future-oriented digital solutions. This would not be possible without the strong sustainability commitment and global presence of a major group like Schneider Electric.
