Business Leader Talks - BNP Paribas
Finance and Sustainability 3.0. The challenges of #PositiveBanking

ESCP offers its students a wide range of lectures and events, allowing them to get in touch with companies and top managers.

On 24 November 2020, the ESCP Turin Campus will host the online Business Leader Talks "Finance and Sustainability 3.0. The challenges of #PositiveBanking" by Mauro BombacignoBNP Paribas Head of Corporate Engagement.

After a brief outline of the scale and urgency of the environmental and social challenges that are having a strong impact on us, our guest speaker will explain how finance is not only a small part but rather a key player in this necessary transition. The challenge of limiting GHG emissions is the most visible, but not the only environmental emergency. The financial resources necessary for a substantial energy transition are very significant and require the joint commitment of public and private actors. Mr Bombacigno will talk about how a great international financial reality shapes its offer to current and future customers, be they individuals, companies, financial institutions.

BNL Group BNP Paribas is a partner of ESCP Turin Campus. With 100 years of history and the integration with BNP Paribas in 2006, BNL is one of Italy’s main banking groups. About 15.000 employees, 2.5 million trusted retail&private, 169.000 business and 45.000 corporate and institutional customers are the main figures of the group in Italy.

"Business leader talks" is a series of debates and meetings with high profile company representatives called on to discuss current topics. These meetings are organised periodically to allow our students to meet experts and leading figures from the business world.
