Michael Axenrod joined the London campus at ESCP Business School in 2022 as an Assistant Professor of Finance.

At ESCP, Michael teaches courses in finance and accounting in several programs, including BIM and MEM. In addition, he researches how financing constraints affect corporate decisions. Michael has presented his research output and discussed papers at several international finance and accounting conferences. Furthermore, Michael has work experience in investment consulting.

Originally from Kyrgyzstan, Michael received his Ph.D. in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). In addition, Michael holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the Humboldt-University of Berlin, Germany, an M.Sc. in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics, and the CEMS MIM degree.
