Francesco Venuti is the Associate Dean for the Executive MBA and the General Management Programme (GMP) at ESCP Business School. He is a permanent faculty member and an Associate Professor of Accounting in the Financial Reporting and Audit (FRA) Department.
Francesco is also the Academic Director of the Specialised Master in International Food & Beverage Management (IFBM – DEAMIE) and of the Food & Beverage Specialisation for the Master in Management (MIM) in Turin. His research focuses on financial accounting and sustainability reporting, particularly for insurance companies and the food and beverage sector. He is also experienced in teaching innovation and behavioural accounting. Francesco is a member of the Accounting for Banking and Insurance Research Lab (ABIREL) and the European Accounting Association (EAA).
He teaches financial accounting, sustainability reporting, and business administration across graduate, undergraduate, and executive programmes – including academic, custom, and open-enrolment courses. He is the Academic Director of the Executive MBA at ESA Business School in Beirut, Lebanon, and an external lecturer at the University of Torino, SAA Business School, and ESA Business School. His expertise extends to financial accounting for banking and insurance companies.
A cum laude graduate in Economics from the University of Torino, Francesco earned a PhD in Business and Management at the same institution. He completed the GCPCL (2019) and the CWW (2020) at Harvard Business School in Boston. Previously, he lectured at the Free University of Bolzano-Bozen and the Politecnico of Torino. He also coordinated teaching innovation and external communication for Istituto Sociale and for the Fondazione GE. Currently, besides his consulting activities, he sits on the Board of Directors and invests in several innovative start-ups.
