Exploring AI, ethics, and human judgment in a digital world.

Let’s Walk is ESCP Business School’s conversation series where ideas come alive on the move. In this episode, host Anobla walks with Louis-David Benyayer, ESCP Professor and AI Initiatives Coordinator, to uncover how Artificial Intelligence is transforming education, research, and business.

AI isn’t here to replace us, it’s here to challenge us

From machine learning to generative AI, for this episode, Benyayer explains the power and limits of these technologies. AI can analyse data, generate text, or recognise images, but it can’t replace human creativity, ethical judgment, or intentional decision-making.

AI is a tool to empower students, not to outsource their thinking. It’s about enhancing human skills, not replacing them.

Ethics, responsibility, and human skills

The conversation also dives into challenges like bias, accountability, and fairness. Benyayer stresses that students must understand the technology’s limits and risks, and that the ability to think independently is more important than ever.

Rethinking education for an AI world

ESCP integrates AI across programs, from finance to marketing, while teaching students critical thinking, social intelligence, and ethical responsibility. Through partnerships with Hugging Face and OpenAI, students gain hands-on experience, learning how to use AI responsibly while staying in control of their choices.

While technology evolves at breakneck speed, Benyayer believes in balancing innovation with human values. Students who embrace AI thoughtfully will gain new opportunities — but relying blindly on machines risks losing essential skills.
