On Friday, 13 March, ESCP Business School’s London Campus hosted its 21st annual Student London Gala
The 2026 event took place at The Brewery, one of London’s most historic venues, and welcomed more than 400 students for one of the most anticipated social events of the academic year.
To mark this milestone edition, the evening embraced the theme ‘Midnight Masquerade’, inviting students to wear masks and step into an atmosphere inspired by classic masked balls from literature, theatre and television. From Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet to The Phantom of the Opera, the historic symbolism of the mask captures both the intrigue and playfulness of the masquerade, while also representing the freedom to be bold, share ideas openly and express oneself without fear of judgement, values that reflect the spirit of the ESCP student community.
Beyond the mystery and fun of the masquerade, the Gala was the highlight of all the achievements, talent and energy our London-based students brought throughout the year through their work with companies, student associations and support for different staff functions.
The Annual London Gala is always a special moment to recognise the extraordinary energy, creativity and commitment of our students. It is inspiring to see how they actively co-create their own leadership journeys through projects, societies and company collaborations beyond the classroom. Celebrating these achievements alongside them is incredibly meaningful and a powerful reminder of the impact our students are already making in the UK and beyond.

Celebrating 2025/26 London student achievements
As is traditional, two students from the community were selected to host the evening. Aurelia Kaabi and Katharina Assemat-Roegl served as Masters of Ceremony, opening the event with a tribute song performance before guiding guests through the awards and celebrations that followed.
The evening began with welcoming remarks from Professor Marie Taillard, Dean of ESCP Business School London Campus, who highlighted the impact students continue to make through their engagement with companies and the wider community, and their contributions to shaping the ESCP student experience.
With every London-based student playing a role in co-creating campus life, selecting winners in each category was no easy task. Through a combination of voting and a rigorous scoring process, the following individuals and teams were recognised for their outstanding impact over the academic year:

At the heart of the ESCP London Gala is celebrating our students and everything they’ve achieved - from consultancy projects to society awards, student ambassador recognition and sporting successes. It’s a really special event for all of our programmes, and a chance for everyone to come together and celebrate what it means to be part of the ESCP community. As Student Experience Manager, it’s important to me that the evening feels memorable and genuinely enjoyable for our students, and this year’s masquerade theme certainly brought unique energy to the night and kept things extra fun for all.

Following the awards ceremony, students took to the dance floor for a DJ set by Master in Management alumnus Harold Van Lennep, closing the evening with music and dancing. The annual London Gala remains one of the defining moments of the ESCP student calendar. It is a night to embrace the true spirit of our community and celebrate our many shared experiences and achievements with students from across different programmes, alumni and attending staff.
The London Gala was a truly memorable evening. The masquerade theme gave the night a special atmosphere, and seeing everyone so beautifully dressed made it feel even more unique. It was wonderful to celebrate everyone's achievements together in such a beautiful venue, with great food, music, and the chance to take lovely pictures while sharing one last special moment before leaving London. It was a real honour to be one of the MCs for the evening and to be voted Student Ambassador of the Year, which made the night even more meaningful for me.
