Strong results for international outlook, practical relevance, and student support
ESCP Business School has achieved top group placements in all key dimensions of the CHE University Ranking 2026/27. The results highlight the School’s strengths in internationalisation, practical relevance, support at the start of studies, and overall student satisfaction.
Top group results across all key dimensions
ESCP achieved excellent results in all four relevant ranking dimensions:
- Student survey: consistently above-average evaluations
- International outlook in teaching and learning: all programmes ranked in the top group (8–9 out of 10 points)
- Practical relevance: majority of programmes ranked in the top group
- Support at the start of studies: top group placement
These results reinforce ESCP’s position as an internationally-oriented business school with a strong practical focus and structured support for students from day one.
Strong student satisfaction across the Bachelor programme
In the student survey, ESCP achieved above-average results across all evaluated categories within the Bachelor programme:
- Overall study situation: 4.5 out of 5 (vs. 4.3 average)
- Digital learning: 4.5 out of 5 (vs. 4.1)
- Examination organisation: 4.2 out of 5 (vs. 3.8)
- Career and practical relevance: 4.4 out of 5 (vs. 3.8)
Overall, ESCP performs above the already high national satisfaction average reported in this year’s CHE Ranking.
International outlook recognised across all programmes
All evaluated programmes achieved top group positions for international outlook:
- Bachelor in Management and Master in Management: 9 out of 10 points
- Specialised Master programmes including International Sustainability Management, Strategy and Digital Business, International Sales Management, and Sustainability Entrepreneurship and Innovation: 8 out of 10 points
The results reflect ESCP’s consistently international approach to business education, from English-taught courses to integrated international mobility opportunities.
Strong practical orientation in specialised Master programmes
Several specialised Master programmes achieved top group placements in the category “Contact to Professional Practice”, highlighting the close connection between academic learning and professional application.
Significant improvement in student onboarding support
In the indicator “Support at the Start of Studies”, ESCP achieved 11 out of 16 points and moved into the top group compared to the previous assessment cycle. The result reflects the continued development of guidance, orientation and support services for students entering higher education.
The CHE University Ranking is considered one of the most comprehensive university rankings in the German-speaking world and is published, among others, in the ZEIT Study Guide.
