Adriana Hurtado is PhD in Human Sciences (Universidad Carlos III of Madrid, Extraordinary
Award), Master in Tourism Management of Cultural and Natural Resources (Universidad Carlos
III of Madrid, Extraordinary Award) and Double Degree in Law and Business Administration
(Universidad Autónoma de Madrid).
Her main line of research is CSR and sustainability applied to tourism, and cultural heritage.
In this sense, she is Research Assistant for the Professorship on Hotel CSR at ESCP Business
School and RIU Hotels & Resorts, Affiliate Professor at ESCP Business School (Madrid campus)
in sustainability and tourism related topics. She is also part of the teaching team in Madrid for
the CEA CAPA study abroad programme, endorsed by the University of New Haven.
Among her most relevant publications, we can mention his contributions to the scientific
journals PASOS. Revista de Turismo y Patrimonio Cultural; Revista Colombiana de
Pensamiento Estético e Historia del Arte; RdM. Revista de Museología: Publicación científica al
servicio de la comunidad museológica, and Revista de Derecho de la Seguridad Social. She
has also presented papers at numerous scientific conferences, such as Twentieth International
Conference on Environmental, Cultural, Economic & Social Sustainability; 7th World Research
Summit for Hospitality and Tourism, or Foro Internacional de Turismo Maspalomas Costa
Canaria.
