Dr. Yuting GAO is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Information & Operations Management, ESCP Business School, Madrid.
Her research interest lies in human-computer interaction, human-AI interaction, and the economic and social impacts of the Internet. Her research methods include field/lab experiments, surveys, econometrics modelling, and machine learning. She has presented her research at leading academic conferences such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), and the Workshop on Information Systems and Economics (WISE). Before joining ESCP, Yuting served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in AI Governance at AI Singapore, working on topics such as how to build trustworthy AI and how to develop users’ trust in AI.
She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems and Analytics from the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, China.
