Prof. Melchior Gromis di Trana, Ph.D., teaches International Financial Reporting at ESCP Business School.
His work combines academic research with professional practice, with a focus on financial reporting (IFRS and Italian GAAP), auditing, corporate governance, M&A and business valuation. He is a Chartered Accountant and Auditor and serves as a technical expert for the Court of Turin on accounting and valuation matters.
His research has addressed topics including sustainability disclosure, stakeholder engagement, going concern and related-party transactions. He has published in international academic and is the author of books and professional publications on accounting and corporate governance.
He is also involved in scientific and professional committees dealing with accounting, taxation and corporate reporting.
