Since joining Borsa Italiana (part of London Stock Exchange Group until 2021 and now part of Euronext Group), he has been instrumental in overseeing and developing equity and derivatives markets.
His expertise includes cash equities, equity and corporate derivatives, as well as strategic relationships management coverage for a wide range of institutional firms including investment banks, algorithmic trading firms, retail banks, asset managers and asset owners, across Europe and USA. Proven track-record of relationships management and sales origination, new products and markets development, from initial design to implementation, developing new sell-side and buy-side client relationships. In-depth understanding of EU regulatory framework and systemic issues, including markets microstructure, high-frequency trading and retail trading. He has been a frequent speaker at global industry conferences in Europe, USA and Near East.
