Jean-Baptiste Say Entrepreneurship Festival 2020 (London Winter Edition)

To honour Jean-Baptiste Say, one of the founders of ESCP and the person who coined the term entrepreneur, we are delighted to celebrate the 9th edition of the Jean-Baptiste Say Entrepreneurship Festival supported by the ESCP Blue Factory and JBS Institute.

The Blue Factory is our European incubator that supports founders - students and graduates -  from ideation to the international development of their company. The 2020 Winter Entrepreneurship Festival will represent the ongoing effort of the London community of this great project. 

Following our successful first online edition in May and in line with the COVID-19 safety measure, this event will take place online. As such, the theme for this year's Festival is ‘Developing New Opportunities in the New Normal’.

Hosted by Prof. Davide Sola, the vision of the event is to unite students, alumni, entrepreneurs, investors and potential customers to exchange ideas and learn from each other.

This event is run as part of ESCP's top-ranked Master in Management programme, currently placed 6th worldwide by the Financial Times (September 2020). Five of our six European campuses are running local Entrepreneurship Festivals on the same day, just another example of ESCP's pan-European spirit.

Schedule (all times GMT)  

12pm - 4pm: Student Entrepreneurship Fair (REMO Platform)
Students will showcase their ventures at a virtual simulation trade fair (links to visit the virtual stands provided upon registration). Customers, investors and other guests will be able to discuss projects one-to-one and the first prototypes (MVP) of each business will be tested.  

4pm - 6pm: Pitch competition (Zoom platform)
All ventures will present their pitches to a panel of entrepreneurs and executives. Link for the main event to be sent as well upon registration.  

6pm: Keynote speech
Guido Meardi, CEO & Co-founder of V-Nova; placed 24 in the "Tech top 100 Entrepreneurs 2020 in the UK" by the Telegraph.

6:40pm: Virtual award for the winners
