Monday 14 December - 9AM - 7PM
ESCP Paris Campus - site of Montparnasse, 3 Rue Armand Moisant, 75015 Paris
In 2024, ESCP Business School launched the ESCP Geopolitics Institute, co-directed by Dr Maxime Lefebvre and Dr Vanessa Strauss-Kahn. The Institute critically examines the interplay between geopolitics, geoeconomics, economics and business, and serves decision-makers, academia and civil society.
The Institute is holding a one-day conference on geopolitical risk on Monday, 14 December 2026, at the Montparnasse Campus. By bringing together academics and business leaders, the conference aims to foster dialogue between these two communities and to strengthen the bridge between academic research and real-world decision-making.
Programme
The programme will open with a keynote address on the current geopolitical landscape, followed by a presentation entitled “What the boardroom sees — and misses”.
Three panels, each bringing together academics and business leaders, will then explore:
- the types of geopolitical risk affecting businesses
- approaches to measuring such risks
- strategies for building corporate resilience
The day will conclude with an address on Europe’s strategic autonomy.
