We are pleased to welcome the following panelists: Catherine Gaudry (Partner & Managing Director Diversity and Inclusion at Scholz & Friends), Michael Detmer (Process Facilitator Konsequent Sicher! at BASF) and Dr. Friederike Hohenstein (Head of People and Development at Mazars)
This first event signals ESCP’s continued and extended commitment to the practice and significance of diversity and inclusion in and for the workplace.
McKinsey’s recent study “Diversity matters” confirms that teams benefit much more from the diversity of their team members than previously acknowledged. However, it also notes that only few organizations are making progress in their diversity and inclusion agenda.
McKinsey’s recent study “Diversity matters” confirms that teams benefit much more from the diversity of their team members than previously acknowledged. However, it also notes that only few organizations are making progress in their diversity and inclusion agenda.
There a many reasons for this, such as a lack of commitment from the top management, an inconsistent implementation of diversity and inclusion practices through line managers and resistance from the workforce regarding inclusion-enhancing practices.
This panel discussion offers insights into some of the challenges and opportunities that come with building an inclusive culture that attracts a diverse workforce. Its panel members consider the role that biases play in this context and highlight strategies on how organizations can overcome difficulties in creating inclusive climates.
