In the 1960s, some visionary French and German politicians and entrepreneurs decided that the European aviation industry must join forces in order to sustain against the mighty aircraft manufacturers from the US. This marked the birth of Airbus, a European success story. Today, Airbus is a commercial aircraft manufacturer, with Space and Defence as well as Helicopters Divisions. Airbus is the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe and a worldwide leader.
Air traffic doubles every 15 years. Who will make sure that airlines have the means to deliver on this growth? What about the challenges of selling complex investment goods with long life-cycles, and what about managing multi-functional teams?
Registration is free, but compulsory.
