The Future of Education
starts at ESCP
Since its foundation, ESCP Business School has always been at the forefront of innovation in business education. As early adopters of new learning methodologies, we see technology as an essential tool to advance our mission of inspiring and educating responsible leaders for a sustainable future.
We’re taking our commitment to provide world-class business education one step further by creating the tools and models that will ensure and shape the future of our sector.

Ambitious
Projects
ESCP Business School has taken advantage of current challenges to accelerate the latest digital transformation initiatives that seek to improve our programmes, reach a greater audience of learners and leaders, and make lasting impacts on the educational landscape.
Led by José Ramon Cobo, Associate Dean of Educational Innovation, ESCP’s strategic plan entitled So’SCHOOL encompasses several ambitious projects that fulfil the following criteria:
- Improvement of the user experience for students, teachers and administrative personnel
- Acquisition of a digital culture
- Development of and support for teaching innovations
- Development of a reliable, open and upgradeable technological foundation
Adaptive Model
Blended Learning (AMBL)
Adaptive Model Blended Learning, the Phygital Factory, Art Thinking by Sylvain Bureau, and Marion Festing’s serious game on intercultural management are among the many successful innovations that our renowned faculty and teams have developed and perfected thus far.
“As every teacher knows, no student is alike. Each of them has his/her own characteristics, peculiarities, abilities and weaknesses, and broad-based learning approaches could be ineffective to embrace this complexity over the long term. Adaptive learning is an educational system based on technology and data analysis, allowing teachers to track each students' performance and adjust methods/programs to their needs”, commented professor José Ramón Cobo, Associate Dean of Learning Innovation
According to Professor Cobo, “adaptive learning consists in using the benefits of Artificial Intelligence (AI) & big data to create the best possible online learning experience for students.”
With blended (physical & digital) and modular teaching activities, the challenge is to provide students with a tailor-made experience throughout their time at the school. Concretely, this means that our participants and students will follow a path unique to their background, their existing knowledge, and their potential blind spots.
Time is knowledge, and this method allows for an optimised learning experience.
SO’SCHOOL
The Digital Transformation Plan
Launched in 2019, So’School is a strategic digital transformation plan of 47 projects related to technological innovation in education uniquely tailored to ESCP’s objectives across its six European campuses.
At the heart of So’School is the desire to improve the user experience for all of ESCP’s stakeholders (students, executive participants, faculty, and staff).
It is a combination of internal and outward-facing developments that include the deployment of more logistical improvements such as internal software to streamline processes for every individual within the school to loftier projects such as the democratisation of adaptive learning for all of the school’s participants and students and the continual improvement of the Phygital Factory.
