Guilhem is an affiliate professor at ESCP Business School and a professor of strategic management at the Catholic University of Louvain.

He holds a PhD in strategic management from HEC Paris. Previously, he was on the faculty of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He was also an Arthur Sachs fellow at Harvard University and a visiting professor at Paris-Dauphine University.

His article “Controlling for Endogeneity with Instrumental Variables in Strategic Management Research” won the SO!WHAT Best Article Award for Scholarly Contribution from Strategic Organization. He was awarded a Research Methodology Award for the study entitled “Caught in an Expectations Trap: Risks of Giving Securities Analysts What They Expect”, coauthored with Jiwook Jung. He was also a runner-up (Honorable Mention) of the Strategic Management Society’s Best Conference Paper Prize.

Guilhem teaches courses to bachelor, master, PhD, and executive audiences. His teaching specialties include advanced strategic management, applied econometrics, corporate strategy in Europe, and organizational theory and dynamics. At ESCP Business School, he teaches strategic management and applied econometrics.
