Julien-Élie Taïeb is an affiliate professor at ESCP Europe and an established professional in the field of equity derivatives, specifically in structured products and options. He earned his dual master's degree in statistics and finance from ENSAE/ESCP in Paris.

Following his studies, Julien began his career at BNP Paribas, where he filled multiple roles across various international locations. His work in Hong Kong and London involved quantitative analysis of counterparty risk for exotic products. Later, he transitioned to the front office in Paris, where he engaged in strategic and structured equity derivatives and eventually led the structured retail product desk for the French institutional market.

In 2010, Julien joined Louis Capital Market in New York City, further specializing in equity derivatives and gaining significant exposure to the US equity markets. His work spanned multiple international locations, including London and Paris, and involved close collaboration with hedge fund clients.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Julien teaches at ESCP Europe. His courses cover a range of topics reflecting his professional expertise, such as interest rates, swaps, equity derivatives, options, and structured products. As an affiliate professor, he shares the experience and knowledge he has accumulated from working in various sectors of the financial industry.
