Alisa Sydow

Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Alisa Sydow is Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at ESCP Business School. She mainly teaches entrepreneurship and corporate entrepreneurship with a focus on new technologies and impact. Alisa holds a PhD in Management and Innovation from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.

Alisa's research interests are in entrepreneurship in developing countries (i.e. Kenya and Uganda), with a particular focus on technology entrepreneurship and women entrepreneurship. Alisa is also the founder of Nampelka - a startup that provides a platform to connect women entrepreneurs from developing countries with international experts to create a shared learning experience.

*ABOUT THE MASTER DEGREE (DEAMIE)

Joining this full-time Master of Science corresponds to the determination to pursue a defined professional project and gives young graduates and young executives a combination of high value skills sought by recruiters. This MSc provides academic expertise and presentation of the best professional practices. Our goal is to train experts who will be rapidly able to progress in a globalised world.

The MSc in Digital Transformation Management & Leadership offers students an option to choose between two entry routes that provide different post-study opportunities, one in the UK (Graduate Immigration Route) and the other in France (Standard Route). Based on the route you choose, you will require either a UK Student Visa or a UK Standard Visitor Visa.

This specialisation is part of the ESCP Master of Science (MSc) programme. Upon completion, you will be awarded the French Master’s degree (DEAMIE – Diplôme d‘Études Avancées en Management International des Entreprises), the UK Master of Science degree (awarded under ESCP London’s UK Degree Awarding Powers granted by the Office for Students), and the ESCP diploma (MSc in Digital Transformation Management & Leadership). The programme holds 120 ECTS.
