Monday, January 5 marked the launch of the new cohort of the Responsible Innovation in Africa specialization within the MiM 2 programme. Students from this new cohort were welcomed on the ESCP Paris–Champerret campus, where they had the opportunity to meet the professors involved in the specialization, discuss the key objectives and challenges of the programme, and familiarize themselves with their academic environment.

Led by the ESCP Chair in Responsible Innovation in Africa, with the support of Axian and Attijariwafa bank, the specialization aims to encourage ESCP students to place Africa at the heart of their career reflections, while fostering academic exchanges with leading partner institutions across the continent, including:

  • ISM – Institut Supérieur de Management (Dakar)
  • ENSEA – National School of Statistics and Applied Economics (Abidjan)
  • ENSPY – National Advanced School of Engineering (Yaoundé)
  • UCAC – Catholic University of Central Africa (Yaoundé)
  • INP-HB – School of Business and Administration (Yamoussoukro)

At the end of the academic curriculum, students enrolled in the specialization take part in an immersive study trip to Senegal, designed as a key highlight of the programme. This experience combines company visits, including Axian Telecom, Wave, Myriad Connect, Eurocham, and Raw Material, with cultural discoveries and visits to natural reserves, offering students a comprehensive understanding of local economic, social, and environmental realities.

Students also benefit from internship opportunities facilitated by the Chair, in collaboration with a wide network of partner companies across Africa, such as Axian Group, I&P, Mec Fadec, Mstudio, Bluemind Fondation and Meraky Tech. These internships, offered in various countries and across diverse sectors, provide a hands-on, immersive experience in the field and allow students to engage directly with real-world challenges.
