The Reinventing Work Research Chair celebrates its one year!

In partnership with ESCP Business School, its objective is to study the changes in today's work in order to anticipate and understand tomorrow's work. Signed a year ago, this Research Chair brings together different business lines of the BNP Paribas Group, which have chosen research themes that make sense in view of their transformation challenges.

One year later, seven research projects are in the pipe!

Monday 14 December, the first results, gathering the outputs of the various countries in which BNP Paribas operates have been presented and Eymeric Guinet, MiM Student, has been awarded the Master thesis prize of the Chair this year for his work on corporate liberation.

"Seven research projects have already been launched, exploring, in particular, the impact of flexibility, digital technology, and hybrid operation on the behaviour of managers and their teams. ‘The goal is to offer our employees the same quality of digitalisation as we have implemented for our clients" says Sofia Merlo, Head of Group Human Resources, BNP Paribas.

"Change is accelerating. 2020… What a year! With this Research Chair, we are creating the best conditions for our teams to adapt and evolve." Vincent Lecomte, CEO, BNP Paribas Wealth Management

"We benefit from high-level research to help us transform our company and think about the consequences of this transformation. It’s not only about the run, it’s also about the future."  says Frédéric Thoral, Human Resources Director BNP Paribas Personal Finance.

"This past year, we have worked on our culture, and how its evolution impacts our managing principles. We have digitalized most of our learning content, to make it reachable ATAWAD: anytime, anywhere, and from any device." explains Claire Maldera, Head of Human Resources, BNP Paribas Wealth Management.

"This chair questions the notion of flexibility regarding time, space, and tasks. The strong engagement of both parties, BNP Paribas business lines and ESCP research teams makes it an amazing place to pursue research projects", underlines Professor Emmanuelle Leon, Scientific Director of the Reinventing Work Chair.
