Higher education is, unfortunately, still deeply unequal. Tuition fees and the scarcity of scholarships and other forms of financial support remain a persistent source of discrimination. I firmly believe in equal opportunities based on merit and motivation. Territorial and social divides must no longer stand in the way of success for those who are the most ambitious, the most hard-working, and the most deserving. The Foundation has a vital role to play in this regard.
