I would like to thank the ESCP Foundation for the confidence they have shown in me by awarding me this scholarship. This decision has eased my financial burden and allowed me to focus more on the ESCP experience, learning and preparing for my professional career. As a Level 5 Scholar, I have also benefited from Frank Bournois' generous announcement that he will cover all my tuition fees in mid-2021. This decision contributes greatly to the openness of the ESCP in terms of social diversity, and I'm proud that my school has decided to move in this direction. In a few months, I'll be the first Master's graduate in my family. I will have had the opportunity to study in Berlin, Paris, Madrid and Boston. What's more, I've already received a job offer from the company where I did an internship during my gap year. These achievements have been made possible by the generosity of ESCP donors, so I'd like to thank the ESCP Foundation and its donors for their support!

Unfortunately, higher education is still highly unequal. The cost of tuition and the rarity of grants and other funding is a persistent factor of discrimination. I'm in favor of equal opportunities based on merit and desire. The territorial and social divide must no longer be an obstacle to the success of the most ambitious, hard-working and deserving students. The Foundation has a mission to carry out in this direction.

Having an impact means enabling a deserving student to achieve excellence in their studies, but it is also about helping them to enjoy a student experience worthy of the name and to live in decent student accommodation with internet access and the digital tools every student needs in the 21st century. That's why the two areas I'm supporting are Equal Opportunities and the Student Experience, and it is why we have set up a University Residence committee within the Foundation to find accommodation solutions for our students and in particular the scholarship students.

Investing in Entrepreneurship is an obvious need, so it was a natural choice for me to support the ESCP Blue Factory on all the School's campuses. (...) I want to symbolically bring one cycle to an end: most donors were students in the 80s while very few come from more recent year groups.
