Gudrun Henne is affiliated professor at the Department of Law Economics & Humanities. She has worked as a senior adviser and companion to top-level leaders operating in complex systems for over 20 years. She holds a summa cum laude doctorate in international law from the Free University of Berlin, Germany. Following several roles in international leadership, she complemented her legal expertise with comprehensive, in-depth trainings both in psychology and organisational transformation. She also delved into self-discovery and spiritual exploration.
Her research focuses on two aspects of leadership. The interface between top-level leaders as individuals with their inner thoughts, emotions and experiences, and their roles and functions; and: The tension between individual freedom and real or perceived technological and systemic constraints.
She is the author of several publications on the workings of the mind, self-management, and personal development. She currently works on a book on the role of self-awareness in leadership.
Gudrun Henne is admitted to the Bar of Berlin. She is founding and active member of World Heritage Watch; founder and organizer of the Practical Conference on Coaching and Personal Development of the German National Academic Foundation´s Alumni Association; member of The German Women Lawyers Association.
