'The World as I See it Today' - Olivier Cadic, UDI senator for French citizens living abroad

In collaboration with the Rescpublica student society, we are delighted to welcome Olivier Cadic, UDI senator for French citizens living abroad, to ESCP's London Campus for an exclusive talk 'The World as I See it Today'.

In addition to his responsibility as senator, Mr Cadic is also Member of the Social Affairs Commission, Vice president of the Business Delegation and Secretary of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces Committee. Before his political career, he was an entrepreneur in the UK, leading a comics publishing company.

The talk will be moderated by Prof. Kamran Razmdoost, Dean of ESCP London Campus, and hosted in English.

This event is open to all current ESCP London students, but places are limited. We request pre-booking to avoid disappointment.

After the talk, we will host networking drinks in F52A.

About our Speaker
Olivier Cadic is Senator for French citizens living abroad since 2014 as 'Free and independent' from any political party.
A former entrepreneur and author of comic books, he set up companies in France and in the UK in the publishing sector in the 80s and the 90s. His political career began in the 2000s, first as elected Representative to the Assembly of French Citizens abroad (AFE) and then as Senator.

About the Society
Rescpublica is the first student society dedicated to promoting public service at ESCP. Their goal is twofold:

(1) to generate student interest in pursuing a career in public service via lectures and other events
(2) to unite the ESCP alumni community working in public service to encourage exchanges and opportunities (internship, visiting public administration, etc.)
