Wertschöpfung für das 21. Jahrhundert: Geschäftsmodelle in der Transformation

Wie kann es gelingen, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft so auszurichten, dass ein gutes Leben innerhalb planetarer Grenzen möglich ist? Wie kann eine tiefgreifende Transformation von Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft als herausfordernde Chance statt als chancenlose Herausforderung begriffen und gemeistert werden? Zum Ende des ersten Viertels des 21. Jahrhunderts stellen sich diese wegweisenden Fragen mehr denn je.

Ein „weiter so“-Wirtschaften nach Status Quo kann es nicht mehr geben. Die Wertschöpfungsaktivitäten und Geschäftsmodelle des 20. Jahrhunderts können nicht ohne Weiteres in ihrer bisherigen Form weitergeführt werden. Sie müssen mit Kreativität und Offenheit für Neues transformiert werden.

Unter der Autorenschaft von Prof. Dr. Florian Lüdeke-Freund und Dr. Tobias Froese haben die Bertelsmann Stiftung und die ESCP Business School hierzu die Fragen untersucht, wie es um den aktuellen Stand der Geschäftsmodelltransformation deutscher Unternehmen steht, welche Pfade und Formen solche Transformationen annehmen können und wie sich das hierbei Gelernte erfolgreich auf andere Unternehmen übertragen lässt. Die Ergebnisse dieser Forschung, welche in Print und E- Book Form veröffentlicht werden, wollen wir am 03.05.2024 gemeinsam mit Ihnen im Kreis namhafter Experten diskutieren.

Value creation for the 21st century: Business models in transformation

How can w succeed in aligning the economy and society in such a way that a good life is possible within planetary boundaries? How can a far-reaching transformation of the economy and society be understood and mastered as a challenging opportunity rather than a challenge without opportunities? At the end of the first quarter of the 21st century, these groundbreaking questions are being asked more than ever.

There can no longer be a "business as usual" economy based on the status quo. The value creation activities and business models of the 20th century cannot simply be continued in their current form. They must be transformed with creativity and openness to new ideas.

Under the authorship of Prof. Dr. Florian Lüdeke-Freund and Dr. Tobias Froese, the Bertelsmann Stiftung and ESCP Business School have investigated the current state of business model transformation in German companies, which paths and forms such transformations can take and how the lessons learned can be successfully transferred to other companies. We would like to discuss the results of this research, which will be published in print and e-book form, with you on May 3, 2024 in the company of renowned experts.
