The ESCP Energy Society and the Energy Management Centre are thrilled to host a discussion on geothermal energy and how we can benefit from it.

The event will feature distinguished speaker Dr Kasumi Yasukawa, Chair of Geothermal Sector at the International Energy Agency (IEA).

Dr Yasukawa will cover the following topics:

  • How is electricity generated by geothermal resources?
  • What are its main benefits?
  • What are some disadvantages?
  • What are the secondary uses of geothermal energy such as heating?
