
Lionel Dahan is Emeritus Professor at ESCP BS. He holds a Doctorate in North-American Studies from Paris VII University. After teaching linguistics at the Sorbonne, he joined the English section of the Language and Culture Department. His personal interests focus on topics related to the contemporary American society. He has specialized in topics related to the business environment in Europe and the USA, as well as to cross-cultural issues.
He is the author of several books and dictionaries dealing with the language of business (English/French) and American civilization. He is also the translator of numerous American management books.
From 2006 to 2012, he was commissioned by CCMP (Centrale des Cas et des Moyens Pédagogiques) to translate into French 34 case studies developed by Harvard Publishing et Ivey School , Darden Business Publishing.
From 2012 to 2018, he translated into English a dozen articles on business ethics, leadership and organizational theory written by Jean-Philippe BOUILLOUD and/or Ghislain DESLANDES . Several of them were presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed academic journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics or Organization Studies, the official Journal of EGOS (Sage Publications).
