Geneviève Causse is Emeritus Professor at ESCP BS and at the University of Paris-Est.
Until 2005 she was a member of the Auditing and Accounting Department at the Paris campus. She has taught Accounting, Finance and Management Control to graduate-level students and to executives of private and public organizations, with special emphasis on the Management of Business Units.
Professor Causse has been involved in numerous ESCP BS projects: the creation of a Training Program for Territorial Administrations - the Academic Direction of the Franco-Russian Master in Management - the creation of Management Training Centres in several developing countries.
At present Professor Causse divides her professional time between lecturing in specialised seminars in foreign countries (Special Financing, Project Management). She is also involved in implementing and evaluating international projects (essentially pedagogical engineering, training programs and educational institutions). She is an evaluation group leader of higher educational systems in different countries for the French Foreign Office and the European Union.
She earned a Public Law Master, MBA and PhD in Management Science. She also holds an " - Agregation" - in Management Science and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Professor Causse is a member of several editorial boards and is an author of many articles and several books written in collaboration. Her work involves the investigation of accounting, cash management, financing systems with special emphasis on adequation management methods and tools with regard to the economic, social and cultural contexts in which they are practised. She has published several articles on teaching and learning issues in the field of business administration, a topic that does not always attract the attention of teachers and researchers.
