Daniele Battaglia is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at ESCP Business School, Turin campus. He holds a PhD in Management from Politecnico di Torino, and he has been visiting PhD student at IESE Business School in 2017.

His research interests lie at the intersection between Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) strategy, entrepreneurship, and  technology transfer. Through his research activities, he has investigated various topics as how innovation and internationalization strategies can be developed in SMEs, the role of technology transfer instruments and policies in promoting academic entrepreneurship, and the entrepreneurial decision-making processes of early-stage start-ups.
