Shaping the Future of Universities in an AI World
Purpose of the Call
We invite contributions that illustrate, analyse, or envision how artificial intelligence is transforming higher education.
Submissions will help shape the Summit’s state-of-the-art White Paper and guide the emerging European Community of Practice on AI in academia. Selected contributions will also appear in the official proceedings and be featured during the Summit’s thematic tracks.
Tracks and Themes
Contributions should align with one of the three thematic tracks:
Track 1 – Teaching & Learning
- AI-enhanced pedagogy and assessment
- Faculty development and digital literacy
- New curricula for an AI-augmented world
Track 2 – Research & Scholarship
- AI-powered research methods and tools
- Academic integrity and authorship in the age of generative AI
- Ethical frameworks and institutional policies
Track 3 – Administration & Strategy
- AI-driven student services, admissions, and operations
- Data governance and responsible innovation
- Strategic transformation and institutional leadership
Types of Contributions
The Summit welcomes a variety of submissions, including:
- Case Studies – Documented examples of AI adoption in teaching, research, or administration
- Research Papers – Theoretical, empirical, or methodological contributions
- Position Papers – Vision statements or frameworks for institutional strategy
- Demonstrations – Live showcases of innovative tools or AI-enabled practices
All selected contributions will be included in the official Summit proceedings.
