Emeritus Associate Professor
Information & Operations Management
Paris

Sergio Vasquez Bronfman is Associate Professor of Digital Transformation at ESCP Business School. An IT engineer, he holds a DEA in Science, Technology and Society (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers - CNAM) and a PhD in Management Sciences (University of Paris - Sorbonne).
His research work focuses mainly on learning innovation and digital technologies. He created the first learning experiences with the Internet at ESCP in the early 90s, and developed an important consulting work in this field. All this led him to develop an expertise in learning innovation. He is currently responsible for our business game - The Customer Valuer Challenge - and has played a key role in the development of digital learning at ESCP, first at the Madrid campus (2013-2016) where he led the creation of ESCP's first online programme (EMIB, Executive Master in International Business), and then as Associate Dean for Digital Learning at ESCP Business School (2017-2020).
His teaching focuses on the relationship between strategy and digital transformation, as well as on the non-technological issues of its implementation (resistance to change, power games, agility, etc.).
He has published several articles and papers at conferences, both on digital learning and pedagogical innovation, as well as on the strategic and managerial aspects of digital transformation.
