Nathalie Prime is a Professor of International Business and Sustainability, Marketing transition to sustainability and Cross-cultural management at ESCP Business School, Paris Campus. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (International Marketing major) from the University of Grenoble as well the French qualification for Ph.D. supervision.She joined ESCP in 1992 and managed several international programs in France and abroad, including the Joint Management Development Program in South Africa, the Executive Specialized Master in Marketing and at CFVG (Centre Franco-Vietnamien d’enseignement de la Gestion), in partnership with the university of Paris Sorbonne) and the Specialized Master in International Project Management in Paris.

Her teaching and research interests are spread on several main areas: Education to Sustainable Development, Culture change for Sustainability, Responsible business and leadership in international contexts, and Personal transition to sustainability, esp. in consumption, and sustainability meanings and challenges across cultures. Her industry work notably concerns the mobility, higher education in management, and the retailing and distribution sectors, with geographical and cultural areas of interests in fast growing economies in Africa, Asia, and the Middle-East. 

Her publications include journal articles and international academic communications. A book in collaboration with Jean-Claude Usunier (Professor at HEC Lausanne), Marketing International, Développement des Marchés et Management Multiculturel (2nd edition, Editions Vuibert, Paris), was awarded the Prize of the Académie des sciences commerciales in 2004. She will publish in collaboration with Jean-Claude Usunier the enriched second edition of the book Marketing international, marchés, cultures, organisations (Editions Pearson Village Mondial, 2018).

Nathalie Prime was born in Gabon. She has taught in India, Vietnam, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Senegal, Togo, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Lebanon, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Switzerland, Slovenia and Russia. At ESCP B.S. she is currently the Scientific director of two Master 2 Specialization Options (in Sustainability and International Business; in Responsible Innovation in Africa). She is also the founder and Scientific director (with Prof. Caroline Verzat) of the Chaire ESCP in Responsible Innovation in Africa supported by AXIAN Group and Attijariwafa Bank.
