ESCP Business School awarded honorary professorships to three Al Rostamani family leaders in Dubai on 1 June 2026.
Monday, 1 June 2026, marked a momentous occasion for ESCP Business School in Dubai.
On this distinguished day, Philippe Houzé, Chairman of ESCP Business School, and Professor Léon Laulusa, Executive President and Dean, conferred on the behalf of our first Business School of the world the title of Professor Honoris Causa upon esteemed members of the Al Rostamani family: Mr. Marwan Abdulla Al Rostamani, Chairman of Al Rostamani Group; Mr. Hassan Abdulla Al Rostamani, Vice Chairman of Al Rostamani Group; and Ms. Najla Abdulla Al Rostamani, member of the Board of Directors, respectively in the fields of Family Business and Strategic Leadership; Corporate Leadership and Entrepreneurship; and Strategic Communication and Philanthropy.
Inspired by the enduring legacy of their late father, Abdulla Hassan Al Rostamani, Founder of Al Rostamani Group, they have emerged as exemplary leaders and custodians of one of the region’s most respected family enterprises. Renowned for their visionary corporate stewardship, entrepreneurial acumen, and ability to build bridges across industries and continents, they have also distinguished themselves as generous patrons of education and human development. Their unwavering commitment to philanthropy stands as a model worthy of admiration and emulation.
The family of the late Abdulla Hassan Al Rostamani and Al Rostamani Group are the proud Co-Founders of the ESCP Business School in the UAE, as they laid the foundation for the ESCP Business School to be present in the UAE and the region at large.
Since the establishment of ESCP Business School’s Dubai campus in 2022 through the kind auspices of the Al Rostamani Group, the Esteemed Abdulla Hassan Al Rostamani Family has provided steadfast and substantial support through the funding of the much acclaimed Big Data, AI and Business Analytics for Government & Businesses, as well as the endowing of the 400 scholarship for UAE nationals and the wider community who ably graduated from this program, thus contributing to the very fabric of the human capital of the UAE, talent enhancement, and to the knowledge economy of the future within the UAE and the wider region.
