Jacques Perrin , Phd in economics, began his career at HEC business School in Paris as full time professor in Industrial economics (1972 /1979) then became Dean of ESCP European business school of the Paris  Chamber of Commerce and Industry (1979/1990) before taking the deanship of ESIEE group, the engineer school of the chamber (1991 /1997).

In 1997 he was seconded to the Nice chamber of Commerce to head the  higher education sector ( CERAM business School now Skema BS ) and to develop the cluster of Sophia-Antipolis technopole. 

He had the opportunity to set up management and engineering schools in Asia:Singapour (FSI) , Thailand ( AIT,Management School) Cambodgia and in South Africa (F’SATIE).

He is consulting for national and international agencies dealing with regional development issues driven by higher education and research centers.

He is Doctor Honoris Causa from the Chuo University in Japan.

He founded and chaired the French Chapter of Management schools (36 Schools members of the Conférence des grandes Ecoles)

He currently serve as Senior Advisor to Investment Funds involved in Higher Education : APAX Partners , Cinven , BPI …..

He is commited to various Foundations supporting Education and the labour market as Board member of Manpower Foudation , IFM Foudation …
