Maral Muratbekova-Touron is Professor in the department of Strategy, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources at the ESCP Business School Paris Campus. Originally from Kazakhstan, she received her Ph.D. in Management Science from HEC Business School, Paris in 2007 and her HDR (French qualification for Ph.D supervisor) in 2014. She holds her Research Master from CNAM, Paris, an MBA from KIMEP, Almaty and diploma in mathematics from Novosibirsk State University, Russia.

Before joining ESCP Business School, she had both academic and professional experiences. She taught higher mathematics at Kazakh Polytechnical University, Almaty and Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour and Cross Cultural Management at Institut Supérieur de Gestion, Paris and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She also worked for the group Lafarge in Human Resource Management department. 

Her research interests lie in the area of international human resource management and talent management.
