Christian Mücke is an Assistant Professor of Finance at ESCP Business School, based on the Madrid campus.

Christian's research focuses on financial intermediation, financial regulation, and sustainable finance, with a particular interest in how policy interacts with financial markets. He uses empirical methods to explore challenges in modern finance, aiming to offer insights that are valuable for both academics and practitioners. This approach has led to his work being presented not only at academic conferences but also being featured in the media.

He completed his Ph.D. in Economics at the Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management (GSEFM) of Goethe University Frankfurt. During his doctoral studies, he worked as a junior researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE and collaborated with the European Central Bank as a consultant, contributing to reform proposals for money market funds.
