Stéphane Morel is a thought expert in sustainable transformation within the mobility sector, having grown his skills at Renault Group. Currently, he works as a Circularity and Eco-design Expert at The Boston Consulting Group, collaborating with Quantis teams to drive impactful sustainability initiatives.

In addition to his consulting work, Stéphane is an affiliate Professor at ESCP Business School, where he teaches fundamental sustainability courses, including Circular Economy in the MSc in International Sustainability Management and the ReThink elective. He also contributes to Executive Education programs focused on organizational change.

Stéphane thrives at the intersection of scientific rigor and creative openness, enabling him to identify targeted actions that yield significant results. He is passionate about facilitating workshops and serious games that foster collective learning, believing that these methods are powerful tools for aligning business objectives with planetary boundaries.

With over twenty years of experience, Stéphane has developed deep expertise in Life Cycle Assessment, culminating in a PhD in Management Science. He has co-directed several PhDs on topics such as electric vehicles, circular business models, and tools for organizational transition. His strategic insights have been solicited by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi C-levels as well as European automotive industries, and he founded the SCORELCA consortium to help companies integrate cutting-edge scientific developments. Stéphane is also actively involved in scientific committees for international conferences on Life Cycle Management.
