Marie-Catherine Mignault is an Assistant Professor in Management at ESCP Business School.
Her research centers on the causes and consequences of accurate and biased social judgments. How does social status impact how we perceive others? Are some people particularly good at accurately judging others? Should you heed the advice to just be yourself in a job interview? She examines these questions in various work-related contexts such as professional networking, job interviews, and team dynamics.
Marie-Catherine obtained her PhD in Social & Clinical Psychology from McGill University. Before starting her position at ESCP, she was a postdoctoral fellow in Organizational Behavior at Cornell University. She integrates her empirical, clinical, and organizational training to build a research program with practical implications for people and organizations.
She teaches leadership in organizations and interculturalism.
