Yi Dragon Jiang is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship in ESCP Europe. Yi’s research and teaching interests revolve around challenges founding teams meet during the new venture creation processes. She is passionate about observing how entrepreneurs behave under uncertainty. Methodologically, she specialized in process study and has worked closely with Chinese high-tech entrepreneurs and refugee entrepreneurs in Europe.
She regularly presents her research at leading international conferences, such as Academy of Management (AoM), Babson, etc. Her recent research papers are published in Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (ETP) and Journal of Business Venturing (JBV), Small Business Economics (SBE), among others.
In addition to her research, Yi has taught strategic management and entrepreneurship related classes and has 7 years of prominent working experience in micro-electronic and on-line retail industries.
