I started my career at Boston Consulting Group in Germany working in the corporate development team in industrial goods, telecommunication, and the automotive industry. In 2003, moving to Malaysia, I decided to pursue a PhD on corporate sustainability in ASEAN, specifically Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. After the thesis, I continued working for Boston Consulting Group and lead projects for industrial clients in China, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia until 2005. Returning to Germany, I worked in the strategy department of Deutsche Bahn AG. I decided to work in the academic field in 2008 and started teaching at Marmara as well as Bosporus University in Istanbul, Turkey. In 2012, I became Visiting Assistant Professor at Kobe University, Japan, and set-up a new Master/Ph.D. Program in the area of entrepreneurship and sustainability. Since 2014 at ESCP Europe I enjoyed working with the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation on entrepreneurship linking it with my passion for sustainability. I teach and supervice master thesis in different specialized master programs at ESCP Europe.
