The Positive Impact Rating (PIR) was conducted for the first time. The international student organisations oikos, AIESEC, and Net Impact have joined forces with WWF Switzerland, OXFAM International and UN Global Compact Switzerland to launch this radically new business school rating. Together, these stakeholders represent the environment, society, business, and the next generation.
Students worldwide evaluated their business schools in terms of their positive impact on society with a total of 30 business schools being considered and published in this first round. This includes ESCP Business School Berlin, which is the only business school in Germany to make it into the rating. The framework for the evaluation is provided by the UN Goals for Sustainable Development (UN SDGs).

About the Positive Impact Rating (PIR)
This first edition of the Positive Impact Rating is about learning from a wide range of business schools around the world. To this end, international student organisations have invited students from the top 50 schools of the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2018 (FT) and the Corporate Knights Green MBA Ranking (CK) to participate in the PIR Rating. Finally, 51 universities took part in the PIR. The 2020 rating includes 30 leading schools that scored well in this student evaluation.
