On Friday, 14 June 2024, ESCP Business School London Campus celebrated the Class of 2023 Graduation Ceremony for its Specialised MSc programmes.
The event recognised our newest graduates from the MSc in Marketing & Creativity, MSc in Energy Management and MSc in Digital Transformation Management & Leadership.
Over 320 graduates, friends and family, faculty and staff gathered at the iconic Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London to commemorate this important day. Guests travelled from around the world, including South and North America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
Prof Kamran Razmdoost, Dean of ESCP Business School London, and Florence Mele, London Campus Director of Student and Academic Services, opened the ceremony, followed later by Lord David Gold, the Chair of the Trustee Board. All three speakers shared encouraging words of inspiration for the Class of 2023, highlighting the cohort's diversity, international outlook, and dedication to their studies. They expressed pride in seeing the next generation of purpose-driven leaders ready to tackle technological, environmental, and social challenges in our rapidly changing world.
Collectively, the 119 graduates represented over 35 nationalities, perfectly exemplifying the international and multicultural spirit of ESCP Business School. This was clearly reflected in the stories shared by programme student representatives. Their speeches offered wonderful bonding stories, personal anecdotes, and how each programme helped to push and transform their lives, both individually and as a collective.

Class of 2023 Best Thesis Awards:
- MSc in Energy Management: Nicolas Kyriakoglou. Thesis title: "Investigating The Impact of Natural Gas Prices on Greece’s Day-ahead Electricity Prices in Times of Extreme Supply Squeezes"
- MSc in Digital Transformation Management & Leadership: Lixi Wan. Thesis title: "Digital Transformation: SME Evolution and Future Prospects in the Post-Covid Era"
- MSc in Marketing & Creativity: Kadambari Zokarkar. Thesis title: "In-store Consumer Interactions in the French Market: What is More Effective - Human- or Technology-Driven?"
Class of 2023 Valedictorians
- Nicholas Kyriakoglou, MEM Class of 2023 Valedictorian, took the opportunity to reflect on the future of energy, tackling environmental policy changes, and encouraged his cohort to work hard to bridge the energy transition divide, following the passion and dedication they all share.
- Tobias Nolte, MDT Class of 2023 Valedictorian, expressed his gratitude to the whole cohort, celebrating their collective achievement and sharing the positive sentiment that one day they will all reflect on their time as the "good old days" sharing a famous quote from The Office.
- Jannik Voellink, MMK Class of 2023 Valedictorian, highlighted the most unusual classes and projects their cohort had, the importance of learning to ask "why?" before asking "what?", and embracing a collective mindset where no idea is too wild.
The ceremony concluded with a Champagne Cocktail reception, where graduates and guests were able to enjoy food & drink refreshments, a live piano performance by Stephen Guy Daltry, and have photos in an interactive photo booth and with a professional photographer.
Congratulations to the MSc Class of 2023 on this remarkable achievement. As you embark on the next chapter of your journey, may you continue to grow, innovate, and make a positive impact in your respective fields.
