On April 3, ESCP students took center stage to present the final outcomes of the course Shaping the Future of Leadership in the Digital Era, a key part of their journey in understanding and addressing the transformation of work in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and digital tools.
Delivered by Professor Emmanuelle Léon, Scientific Director of the Reinventing Work Chair, this 30-hour course led students through in-depth exploration of how leadership and organizational dynamics are evolving. The final step: a public restitution of their group projects in front of a jury of experts from academia and industry.

A Morning of Insight and Innovation
The event kicked off with a shared breakfast, offering students and jury members a moment to connect informally before diving into the presentations. The morning officially began with a welcome and agenda overview, setting the stage for a stimulating half-day of discussion and reflection.
Eight student groups took turns presenting their vision and recommendations on pressing topics such as AI, hybrid work, sustainability, and inclusion. Each group had three minutes to screen a video pitch, followed by ten minutes of live Q&A with the jury.
The topics tackled this year included:
- AI & Frugality – How to develop tech without destroying the planet?
- Working time flexibility in the digital era
- Green AI – Greenwashing or Achievable Utopia?
- Citizenship and AI – What Role Will AI Play Tomorrow?
- Coworking Spaces – How to Foster Social Connections
- AI in Corporate Decision-Making
- Isolation at Work – How to Prevent Risks in Hybrid Work?
- Can AI in Education Serve as an Equalizer of Opportunities in Africa? A Comparative Analysis with Asia and Europe
And the Winners Are…
After a short deliberation, the “Prix of the Chair Reinventing Work” was awarded to the group working on AI in Corporate Decision-Making, recognizing both the depth of their analysis and the quality of their presentation. Each member of the winning team received a €300 prize, offered by the Chair.

A Jury of Committed Experts
We warmly thank the jury members for their time, insights, and support:
- Carin Fouganthine and Sathyna Vendel-Hong, BNP Paribas
- Daniel Manjarrez, L'Oréal
- Marcus Goddard, 2050Now
Their feedback and questions pushed students to refine their thinking and bridge the gap between academic insights and real-world challenges.
Celebrating Learning and Impact
The event concluded with a closing ceremony at noon, marking the end of an intense learning experience, and celebrating the creativity and analytical skills of the next generation of leaders.
Once again, congratulations to all the students for their inspiring contributions and to the Reinventing Work Chair for fostering meaningful conversations at the intersection of technology, human values, and the future of work.
