Anthony J. Evans is Professor of Economics at ESCP Business School.

His research areas include monetary economics and transitional economics, with a focus on competitiveness, central banking, and neoliberalism.

He has published over 40 academic articles and authored Economics: A Complete Guide for Business (2020), Getting the Measure of Money (2018), and The Neoliberal Revolution in Eastern Europe (2009). Anthony has been an Affiliate Faculty Member on the Microeconomics of Competitiveness Programme at Harvard Business School and a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence at San Jose State University. He served as Head of Research (2011-2013) and Head of Teaching and Learning (2016-2022) for the London campus of ESCP Business School, where he received the 2018 Teaching Award.

Anthony completed the Oxford Scenarios Programme at Said Business School in 2022, the Successful Case Teaching Workshop in Munich in 2019, and the Global Colloquium for Participant-Centred Learning at Harvard Business School in 2009. He holds an MA and PhD in Economics from George Mason University, USA, and a BA (Hons) from the University of Liverpool, UK.
